Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor (Business), London, was in India as part of United Kingdom Prime Minister Ms. Theresa May’s delegation and took time off to visit the county’s largest & tallest mixed use development “Supernova” by Supertech in Noida. “I am delighted to visit this ultramodern and aesthetically being designed mixed use development project. The fact that this is being designed by the famous London headquartered firm, Benoy, gives me a reason to feel proud of this association.”

The Dty Mayor was greeted by RK Arora, Chairman-Supertech and Mohit Arora, MD-Supertech. “We feel privileged and honored by the visit and Mr. Agarwal’s word of appreciation has encouraged us to build more such mega buildings of the future,” said RK Arora.

Supernova is spread across 60 lakh sq.ft of area; one of its towers, Spira is India’s tallest mixed use development, which has 80 floors and will stand at a height of 300 metres. The construction has crossed 50th floor, which already makes it the tallest tower in North India. Recently, CTBUH (Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat), Chicago, USA, recognized ‘Spira’ Tower as the first and only twisting tower in India.

Supertech claimed it has sold within 60 days 250 apartments worth Rs. 150 crore in its housing project in Gurgaon within two months from the launch. Units in its Azalia project cost Rs.48 lakh. "There are buyers in large numbers if we offer quality projects at right price," chairman RK Arora said. Meanwhile, the Allahabad High Court had in April 2014 ordered to demolish Supertech's two 40-storey towers - Apex and Ceyane - in a Noida housing project, which the company has challenged in the Supreme Court.
